Death Star is the most popular name for the DS-1 Orbital Battle Station, a moon-sized space station carrying a weapon of mass destruction in the form of a sphere, and used by the Galactic Empire in the Star Wars universe.[1]
The Death Star was destroyed by Luke Skywalker piloting an X-wing starfighter.
